Theory of a Deadman to Headline Halloween Night at North Star Mohican Casino Resort

Northern Wisconsin, are you ready?

North Star Mohican Casino Resort has once again solidified their position as entertainment leader in the Midwest with their recent booking of Canadian band, Theory of a Deadman. Most recently known only as Theory, the band will take the stage in the casino’s Orion Event Center on Halloween night, 2019.

With their sixth studio album, Wake Up Call, Theory hit the reset button, diving into a new sound, a new approach, even a new location. “Complacency is such a disease when you’re in a band,” says Tyler Connolly, singer and guitarist for Theory. “People are so afraid to progress, but you have to change—you can’t just write the same song over and over. So when I saw where this record was going, I said to the other guys, ‘We’re in a car and it’s going off a cliff. Do you want to jump out or ride it to the bottom?’ “

Theory recognizes that the more melodic, intimate style that defines the project is a bold move for one of the leading rock bands in the world. Since forming in British Columbia in 2001, Theory of a Deadman—Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner, bassist Dean Back, and drummer Joey Dandeneau—have placed nine songs in the Top 10 on the rock charts, including the Number One hits “Bad Girlfriend,” “Lowlife,” “So Happy,” and “Angel.”

“We are excited to have such a wide-renowned band headline at our property,” said Brian Denny, Marketing Director at North Star Mohican Casino Resort. “We are proud of our entertainment staff and the new genres they have been exploring when it comes to booking acts. We are here for the entertainment and enjoyment of our guests and we believe that Theory will be yet another sold-out show for our venue.”

Ticket prices are $55, $45, and $35, and can be purchased online https://www.northstarcasinoresort.com/entertainment or by calling 1-800-775-CASH. Doors open at 7PM and the concert begins at 8PM. Must be 21 years or older to attend.
